Cross Fire Cooking – Live Fire Cooking Class
Wood fire cooking master, Matt Cross of Cross Fire Cooking joins us at Hazelhurst Farm for his Live Fire Cooking Class.
Spend a day getting hands on cooking various cuts of meat, fish and vegetables over live fire using south American Asado cooking methods.
We will cover everything from lighting and maintain a fire, different wood species for cooking, meat cuts, preparation and lot’s more.
Tea & coffee on arrival as well as breakfast : potato rosti, thick cut bacon and fried egg.
What we will cook:
1/2 a lamb cooked asado style
Cedar planked salmon, with chive hollandaise sauce
Marinated chicken, burnt pepper Romesco sauce
Rib eye on the bone with roasted bone marrow and salsa verde
Scallops cooked on the coals
Grilling and slow roasted vegetables in embers
