In the winter of 2018, our family took up residency at Hazelhurst farm with the challenge of turning this former dairy back into a vibrant business.

New lease of life

New lease of life

We’re incredibly fortunate to be situated within the beautiful New Forest National Park. With it being such a popular destination for visitors, we began renovation work to turn the former agricultural buildings into quality guest accommodation.

The farm is also home to a number of horses in our equestrian facility. To compliment the existing 60’x20’ riding arena, we’ve just completed the addition of a new block of 12 stables offering DIY livery and grazing.

Our first year here was certainly a busy one, but another item we just couldn’t leave off our to-do list is to rekindle the use of traditional organic farming methods. We hope to reintroduce a small number of mixed livestock as well as putting some roots down with a proper cottage vegetable garden.

No day is ever the same, and there’s certainly never a dull moment here. We fell in love with the farm from day one and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
